4 November 2026 · A reflection on the first day of the eToro Pro Investor Summit
Executive summary. The first day in Limassol strengthened our belief that AI can help people develop their abilities and attempt work that previously felt beyond reach. Our own role in an AI-driven 2030 is beginning to take shape, while the question of what to tell a child starting school remains open.
People give new capabilities a purpose
Yesterday, 3 November, was the first day of the eToro Pro Investor Summit in Limassol. It was full of energy. We met smart, wonderful people and a team dedicated to giving us, and the people investing alongside us, better tools to develop ourselves and manage our portfolios.
The questions we brought to the summit are already helping us sketch a picture of our role in an AI-driven 2030.
Our view is that AI can bring out the best in each of us. It can help us explore an idea, learn something unfamiliar or attempt work we would previously have thought beyond our reach. Some of the opportunities ahead may be ones we have not yet imagined.
As investors, we follow the computing infrastructure supplied by NVIDIA and the AI tools being developed by Microsoft. Yesterday brought us back to the people who will use those capabilities. What could they build? What problems could they solve? What might they discover about their own abilities?
Better tools leave room for human judgement
That is where this becomes personal. We are starting to picture a role in which we can do more with our experience and judgement, while continuing to learn. Better tools can expand what we are able to attempt. Choosing worthwhile questions, checking the evidence and taking responsibility for our decisions will still matter.
The people we met yesterday are part of that picture too. There is something encouraging about being surrounded by others who are thinking seriously about how to grow, and by a team working to support that progress.
The question about education remains open
We still do not know what advice we would give a child starting first grade today.
By the time that child enters working life, the possibilities may be very different from the ones we can see now. We are optimistic about what AI could help them become, while still thinking through what we should help them learn.
That is the question we carry into today's sessions.
What would you tell a child starting school today?
