𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲: 𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗢𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 Hey everyone, As promised in my Q3 review, it’s time for a detailed breakdown of the strategic changes I’ve made to the portfolio in early October. This is a perfect example of my strategy in action: staying committed to my long-term vision while actively making smart, calculated moves. Let's dive into the key decisions. 𝟭. 𝗧𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗻 $𝗔𝗠𝗗 (𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀) This was the biggest move of the month. On October 6th, I closed my entire position in $AMD after the stock surged to over $208 per share, locking in a fantastic average profit of over +76%. So, why sell a winner? This was a tactical decision based on market dynamics. The catalyst for the surge was the huge news that OpenAI has chosen AMD's MI-series AI accelerators for training its next generation of models. This is massive validation for AMD's long-term story. It proves their technology can compete at the highest level and breaks NVIDIA's effective monopoly on training cutting-edge AI. However, it also triggered a massive, speculative rally that, in my view, pushed the stock price well ahead of its fundamentals in the short term. My core belief is that it’s just as important to know when to sell as it is to know when to buy. Locking in a fantastic gain and stepping aside to let the hype cool down is a disciplined risk management move. I am now watching AMD from the sidelines and will consider re-entering at a more attractive valuation if the opportunity arises. 𝟮. 𝗣𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗼 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴: 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 $𝗠𝗥𝗩𝗟 & 𝗥𝗲𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 $𝗦𝗡𝗢𝗪 You'll also notice I closed my positions in $MRVL (Marvell) and two of my older positions in $SNOW (Snowflake). On $MRVL: After a deeper analysis of the competitive landscape, I became concerned about increasing pressure from NVIDIA's expansion into networking and custom silicon. While Marvell is a good company, my conviction in its long-term competitive moat has weakened. I decided to exit the position with a solid profit of +15.4% and reallocate the capital to opportunities I believe have a stronger, more defensible position. On $SNOW: This was a disciplined rebalancing move. After a fantastic run on my older Snowflake positions, I decided to close them to lock in significant profits of +84.8% and +18.9% and reduce my exposure slightly. I then consolidated the capital into a single, rebalanced position. This action secures my gains while maintaining my strong, long-term conviction in the data cloud leader. 𝟯. 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗲: 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 I also used this opportunity to increase my stakes in a few key companies: $𝗔𝗠𝗭𝗡 (Amazon): I added to my position here. With its fortress-like balance sheet and the continued dominance of AWS, Amazon acts as a high-quality, stable anchor in my growth-focused portfolio. $𝗢𝗥𝗖𝗟 (Oracle): I also increased my position in Oracle. The stock has seen a minor pullback after a strong run-up recently, and I used this opportunity to strengthen my position based on my long-term conviction in their growing cloud infrastructure business. $𝗧𝗧𝗪𝗢 (Take-Two Interactive): This was a conviction-driven addition. The massive, worldwide anticipation for Grand Theft Auto 6, expected next year, represents one of the most significant and predictable catalysts in the entire market. I wanted to ensure I am well-positioned for it. 𝟰. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝗱𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗽) Finally, as you know, in early October I also opened two new positions: $PLTR (Palantir): My entry into a pure-play AI software leader. $AVGO (Broadcom): A more stable semiconductor leader that adds a dividend component. These moves are all part of a single, coherent strategy: to own the "picks and shovels" of the digital revolution, manage risk actively, and make disciplined, data-driven decisions. Thanks for your trust.
